The solutions to the dilemma of the cruise itinerary short – too many activities on board – a very short time

So many activities on board … no time!

- How to Max of fun

- How to Dodge the crowds

How Rip Offs avoid and save money

How to maximize the fun -

advertising makes Cruise Line seems so simple … strongly implying that the wisest choice is a boat with the latest, greatest facilities for things such as rock climbing, bowling, surfing board, skating ice, pool, water parks, etc. And some people actually hype pumped. But stop panting for a moment and think. Your boat does not have to be the one more "to-know-who-had-it-on-a-ship" activities to make your cruise a success. Other events, less glamorous can be as successful – for to the tastes and interests, of course.

A good example – are not the old standbys such as ice carving demonstration – that has the potential to be a real heart stopper. For example – from time to time the ice artist accidentally put his miniature chainsaw in the hands of a drunken passenger unstable. The show instantly becomes more exciting to watch and self-service for the artist. Great advice and assistance are sold guaranteed.

Another oldie but goodie is the napkin folding class – especially popular among those willing to adjust their medications accordingly.

But a word of caution is in order. What was thought to their safety to the thrill of a lifetime – target = "_blank" title = "Activities on board"> Carnival hairy chest contest – was a failure. (Unfortunately, I'm speaking figuratively).

Let me set the scene. I rolled out of bed early on the big day – totally committed to attend this seminal event a front row seat. But words can not express my disappointment when it was announced that the participation was limited to men only. Unfortunately, I had to resign to food of a different fetish for that day. Scanning Carnival Capers for the umpteenth time, looking for possibilities, I murmured to myself, "Certainly There must be something. After all, this is Carnival!

How to avoid the crowd -

There are times of the day and places even the largest, most modern ships where large crowds materialize and you may find more partners in the company of what I want. At that time the competition can be acute for resources such as jacuzzi, children's pool or in the lounge chairs near the pool. Many boats have been a feeble attempt to solve this problem by creating an Adult "only" pool and living room – as the signature inside Solarium Royal Caribbean / pool area outdoors. But these areas tend to be a bit quiet and too far from the real action – the eye candy – if you know what I want mean (wink, wink).

So when in extremis, we can offer some solutions – tried and true – an old and a new one.

Full Pool Solution-people

Known as the "Caddy Shack" strategy – this is a risky technique – frowned upon by the lines cruise and to be used sparingly or it loses its effectiveness. You surreptitiously throwing a chocolate bar unwrapped Babe Ruth in the pool – preferably a "float." Then sit and wait. The exodus is "mass" or gradual – depending on whether the alarm is shouted aloud by a bather in a panic or distributed quietly through whispers and looks worried.

Solution cover, Crowded -

current world events have opened up new possibilities to find a vacant seat when the desire to nap and / or sun during peak hours. The most effective way of new techniques is to shout in the top of their lungs, "Somali pirates off the starboard bow!" The reckless will run to the railing with their digital cameras in hand. The timid will run for cover. Others just sit there trying to figure out which side of the ship is "starboard." However, two out of three is not bad. Two thirds of the deck chairs will be available immediately.

Stay on board in port –

Why follow the herd on the ground, especially if –

a. You've been there on numerous times before

b. You owe money to someone who lives there

c. There has been an unprecedented outbreak of Chikungunya fever

d. It is one, long rough trip to the coast in a, hot crowded, no air conditioning contract

By staying on board when most everyone else is on the ground you can find the beneficiary, the tranquil open spaces on the terrace of the pool, almost deserted dining rooms and there is no lines in the Lido buffet. From time to time, you can find stores in operation onboard "on port" special as well – if they allowed to remain open in the local port authorities.

Hot Tip – The ship's spa will undoubtedly open and running discounts special while in port. You will also find last minutes getting appointments for treatments easier in the days of port.

Being late for dinner –

Do not be too late – just 10 minutes or so – is something more rude to the waiters and staff. This will save you the crowd seems to be off the dining room three days before every meal – and the stampede of the tables when the doors first opened. In addition, strutting on a recent afternoon for a more striking entrance tail – the opportunity to make sure that his hometown last result of the store Gently Used is seen and appreciated.

How to avoid compensation extract and save money -

Most of these activities are free of charge, included in your cruise fare. However, there are some who are creators of money for the cruise line. So, here a little activity Prime to use in planning your daily schedule – not only interest but also by the budget.

One of the few activities with fees associated –

Yoga Classes = $ 10 to $ 15 per session

Bowling (NCL) = $ 5 per game

Boxing (RCI) = $ p 15 / p for a group session, $ 95 for a particular class or $ 120 for couples (which is what I thought too, but is cheaper than couples therapy).

Activities for free -

The following are usually included in your cruise fare – climbing, ice skating, Tyrolean (coming soon in the Oasis of the Seas), Merry-Go-Round (Oasis of the seas again), inhibited the seagoing pool (only in some ships), the use of fitness equipment in the spa and jacuzzi, swimming pools, saunas and steam rooms. With a little will have to make reservations in advance – many activities most popular account for a day or two.

Watch Education classes at the gym -

In June of '08 we paid good money to attend a "How to boost your metabolism" of classes in the Fitness Center and Spa lines mark X. The class was be nothing less than an infomercial for grossly overpriced (but oh-so-smart packaging) for vitamins and minerals and herbal supplements – the ingredients of which apparently have been illegal Side effects – such as accelerating the growth of facial and chest. Furthermore, it was difficult to sell for the boys, too – shaving heavily marked accessories, which, ironically, after six months would be loans to wives who are in supplements – and strengthen my argument for opening Carnival in the hairy chest contest for both sexes.

As a result of that experience, my policy in such matters is now quite simple. If the process requires sit through an infomercial, especially one that ends with a strong selling point, I will pay and not the reverse.

Use of the Internet -

Most of all on board ships have Internet cafes and Wi-Fi. If you have any studs along your laptop – The most convenient way to connect is via Wi-Fi from the comfort of your cabin. But beware – the connection time is measured and extends from 30 to 70 cents per minute. Much better to buy a block of minutes for the duration of the cruise – sign in at the right time to download your e-mail – log to read about their financial gain from Nigeria – compose your answers – then log back on long enough to send them.

Hooked consumption soda? –

If you are addicted to Coca-Cola with Lime Diet Cherry Vanilla – consider that costs between $ 2 to $ 4 each (plus Automatic 15% gratuity) if purchased separately. So do the math. If you usually take two or more drinks per day – buy the Unlimited Soda Package – usually priced at $ 30 to $ 40 for a seven-day cruise.

Shop stores on board cruise last day

Store Search entertainment for the duration of the cruise. But if you can resist having-to-have-it-now urge, you can save a ton of money by waiting until the last day of the cruise to buy. Do not be surprised to see – on the last day of their Caribbean cruise – hundreds of goose surplus parkas Alaska season – all jammed up and rolled out on racks to the right in the halls – Reduced by 75%. If driving in January and headed back to his hometown of Frost Bite falls in 24 hours – it could be a hell of a purchase.
